The West Orange Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell 46-34 to Timber Creek. West Orange was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Timber Creek apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Timber Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karishma Ortiz, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Channing Warren, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds.
West Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Timber Creek, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Orange will take on Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gateway is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. Timber Creek's road trip will continue as they head out to face Edgewater at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. Edgewater will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Timber Creek is ranked 127th).
