If the Centennial Knights were feeling good off their 42-7 takedown of the Northview Titans last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Centennial fell 17-7 to Greater Atlanta Christian on Friday. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Centennial couldn't answer the 10 points Greater Atlanta Christian scored afterwards.
Hunter Campbell threw for 92 yards on 15 of 24 attempts. Luke Singletary was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards.
It was another big night for Gianlucca "gl" Tiberia, who rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Tiberia is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last six games he's played.
Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Centennial will head out on the road to face off against Cartersville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cartersville is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they will face off against Dalton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
