The Paradise Bobcats will challenge the Pierce Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paradise will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Paradise is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 35-24 victory over Colusa on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bobcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Evan Higgs continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 244 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 116.3 rushing yards per game.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Paradise was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Pierce strolled into their game last Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past Willows to the tune of 42-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bears' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Honkers are ranked 949th).
Paradise better focus on containing Austin Jorge and Nate Macintosh as the pair were huge in Pierce's win. Jorge threw for 99 yards and three TDs on only nine passes, while Macintosh gained 113 total yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Jorge racked up 143.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pierce's defense and their seven sacks. Quin Stephens was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three himself. Jorge got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Paradise's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Pierce, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Paradise has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 165.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Pierce struggles in that department as they've been averaging 170.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Paradise suffered a grim 30-7 defeat to Pierce when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bobcats were down 24-0.
