Fans got a thrill when Kareem Coles and Joshua Robinson connected against Bonita Vista. The longest such play in Western this season, the connection resulted in 72 yards.
Mission Bay added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Clairemont, 41-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Buccaneers.
La Jolla's Collin Rugg and Brandon Bonham have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rugg has thrown for 901 yards this season, while Bonham, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 16 catches for 337 yards. Kevin Moore from Madison leads the league in rushing with 534 yards.
Mission Bay took down the Chieftains 41-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
