Brusly waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 20 straight wins... but they left with 21. They had just enough and edged out the Destrehan Wildcats 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since March 21st.

Zoe Fabre was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Payten Albert, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Brusly hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive contests.

Brusly's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Destrehan, their loss dropped their record down to 21-11.

Looking ahead, Brusly will be taking part in a tournament against Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Destrehan, they are taking a road trip to square off against Vandebilt Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
