The West Florence Knights couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by A.C. Flora 63-15 on Monday. West Florence was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-5.
A.C. Flora got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Terriana Gray out in front who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. The contest was Gray's third in a row with at least ten points. Skylar McCray was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 4 steals.
West Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for A.C. Flora, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
West Florence will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. James at 6:30 p.m. A.C. Flora is on the road again on Thursday and play against North Augusta at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th.
