Softball Recap: Peru Has No Trouble Against Saranac Lake

While Peru put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Saranac Lake. The Nighthawks blew past the Red Storm 15-0. The Nighthawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 15 runs or more this season.

Peru now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Saranac Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Peru will be playing in front of their home fans against AuSable Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Saranac Lake, they will take on Northern Adirondack at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.67 runs per game on average), something the Red Storm will no doubt try to take advantage of.
