 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Sanford-Fritch's offense. They had to suffer through  a    36-0 loss at the hands of West Texas. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 18, 2019, but that streak is no more.
 Sanford-Fritch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Sunray, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Everything came up roses for Sunray against Sanford-Fritch in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024, as the  team secured  a  49-0 victory. Will the Bobcats repeat their success,  or do  the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
