A Season-Best Performance from Braden Slater Leads Karns City over Redbank Valley
Karns City was led to victory by Braden Slater, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Slater rushed for 195 yards and five touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Jase Ferguson's big game helped extend Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion]'s winning streak to seven on Friday. Ferguson turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 281 yards and six touchdowns, while also rushing for 83 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
If the past is any indication, Ferguson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Punxsutawney on Friday. Logan Kohler Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, Bradford got the W thanks in part to Logan Kohler playing the best football he has all season. Kohler picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards.
The victory snapped Bradford's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. Kohler and Bradford will face off against Karns City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Trey Wingard Dazzles in Dubois Win
Trey Wingard's big game helped extend DuBois's winning streak to six on Friday. Wingard did his part (and then some), throwing for 266 yards and five touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
DuBois' win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Wingard will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against St. Marys on Friday.
