The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Madyson Thacker was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Helton, who scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
The victory got Model back to even at 1-1. As for Rome, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
