The Millard Eagles will square off against the North Sevier Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Millard's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past American Leadership Academy 18-0. The result was nothing new for Millard, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Macie Wade was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Millard got a massive performance out of Maren Davies, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Davies has posted since back in April of 2025. Emily Stephenson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Millard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, North Sevier lost 20-10 to South Summit on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.
North Sevier saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tesslee Quarnberg, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Another was Zoey Rhees, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.
The victory made it two in a row for Millard and bumps their season record up to 6-14. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for North Sevier, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Millard hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .323. However, it's not like North Sevier struggles in that department as they've averaged .362. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Millard got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against North Sevier by a conclusive 17-5 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
