After flying high against the Arabia Mountain Rams last Tuesday, the Stone Mountain Pirates came back down to earth. Stone Mountain suffered a rough 5-2 defeat at the hands of Centennial on Thursday. The game was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Stone Mountain couldn't quite close it out.
Happy Agaba wasn't going to let Centennial walk away unscathed as he scored both of Stone Mountain's goals. With that big game, he's now up to two goals this season.
Stone Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Centennial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Stone Mountain will head out on the road to face off against Miller Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Miller Grove will be up against Stone Mountain's rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive showing. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to challenge Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
