Last Saturday, Holcomb was able to grind out a solid win over Clay Center, taking the game 58-46. The victory was just what Holcomb needed coming off of a 62-38 defeat in their prior matchup.

Colby has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 56-45 to Goodland on Saturday. Colby has struggled against Goodland recently, as their contest on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Holcomb's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Colby, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
