After losing to Raleigh-Egypt the last time they met, Wooddale decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Wooddale had just enough and edged out Raleigh-Egypt 16-13. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
The win bumped Wooddale's record up to 4-1. The defeat dropped Raleigh-Egypt's record to 3-2.
Next week Wooddale take on Collierville at 7:00 PM. Wooddale have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Collierville are surely hoping to exploit. Raleigh-Egypt will stay at home against Millington Central at 7:00 PM.
