Parma is a perfect 3-0 against Vision since April of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will host Vision at 5:00 p.m. Parma will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
It was a proper cat-fight when Parma took on Timberlake last Saturday. The Panthers fell 9-6 to the Tigers.
Rommie Lewis III made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those doubles were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Obenchain, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vision). Everything went their way against Idaho City on Saturday as they made off with a 21-1 win.
Kannon Koberlein was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
In other batting news, Vision got a massive performance out of Dylan Warth, who went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Warth has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Payton Williams, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Vision always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
Parma's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Vision, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Parma has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .459. However, it's not like Vision struggles in that department as they've averaged .486. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Parma got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Vision by a conclusive 18-8 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vision turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
