The Shepherd Pirates won the last time they faced the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Shepherd snuck past Anderson-Shiro with a 47-41 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Shepherd.
Shepherd got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brayden White out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Tristen Cullum was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists.
Shepherd is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season. As for Anderson-Shiro, they dropped their record down to 9-18 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Shepherd will take on Coldspring-Oakhurst at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Coldspring-Oakhurst's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Anderson-Shiro, they will head out on the road to face off against Onalaska at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Onalaska focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Tuesday.
