Even though they lost, West Clermont's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 51 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Despite the loss, West Clermont still got an impressive performance from Rayshawn Hubbard, who scored 31 points along with three steals. The contest was Hubbard's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carson Duke, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Even though they lost, West Clermont were working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
West Clermont are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Northwest, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Clermont will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Loveland at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd. Loveland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 400 points over their last six games. As for Northwest, they will head out on the road to face off against East Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
