Bishop Machebeuf were able to grind out a solid win over Manual last week, winning 19-8. No one had a better game by the numbers than junior Darius Richards, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 113 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, Prospect Ridge Academy have to be hurting after a devastating 0-22 loss at the hands of Cornerstone Christian Academy.
Bishop Machebeuf's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Prospect Ridge Academy's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Bishop Machebeuf can add another positive mark to their record or if Prospect Ridge Academy can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Bishop Machebeuf's step.
