The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils will challenge the Bald Eagle Area Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Bellwood-Antis made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bedford, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Blue Devils blew past the Bisons 14-5 on Friday. The Blue Devils' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Those three runs gave McKee a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Martin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.
Bellwood-Antis was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bald Eagle Area, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Philipsburg-Osceola on Tuesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.
Bald Eagle Area let Sydney Thompson and Alexa Baney run wild. Thompson scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Baney scored a run while going 2-for-4. Kailey Eckert was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
Bald Eagle Area pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bellwood-Antis, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.
