Clark's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was De'Shaun Tolever, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The game was Tolever's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Gebremeskel, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Somerset Academy Losee had a senior duo take command as Malachi Richardson scored 14 points and KeSean White scored 15 points. The contest was White 's third in a row with at least ten points. Kieran Daniel was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Clark bumped their record down to 8-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Somerset Academy Losee, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.
