King Academy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Laurens Academy Crusaders 14-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 two weeks ago.

King Academy pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Laurens Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
