The Wisner-Pilger Gators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Howells-Dodge. Wisner-Pilger has struggled against Howells-Dodge recently, as their contest on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Gators players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nevaeh Brown, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Haley Kneifl, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Wisner-Pilger has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Howells-Dodge, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
