Milford hasn't had much luck against Panguitch recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Milford Tigers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Panguitch Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Milford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.9 points per game this season.
On Tuesday, Milford came up short against North Sevier and fell 65-54.

Despite their loss, Milford saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kielen Tsosie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Tsosie is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last five games he's played. Colton Barnes was another key player, putting up 16 points.
Even though they lost, Milford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Panguitch came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 59-49 victory over the Buffalos.
Panguitch's win came from a few key players Milford will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Remme Chappell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 boards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Daxton Miller, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Panguitch's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Milford, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Milford has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Panguitch struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Milford took a serious blow against Panguitch in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 77-38. Can Milford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
