Last Thursday, Columbus Christian came up short against Legacy Elite Academy and fell 66-54. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Columbus Christian in their matchups with Legacy Elite Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
Medora has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 64-30 win over Cannelton on the road. With that win, Medora brought their scoring average up to 50.5 points per game.
Medora's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Johnson, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Nugen, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
Columbus Christian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Medora, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Columbus Christian came up short against Medora in their previous matchup back in February, falling 59-53.
