After a string of six wins, Lamar's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Woodland Park Panthers by a score of 2-1. Lamar were not able to make up for their loss to Woodland Park from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Lamar's goal came courtesy of Alex Santos, who's now up to 16 this season.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Woodland Park, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lamar will challenge rival Atlas Preparatory School at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodland Park is set to face off against their familiar foe Manitou Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
