Sachse is 8-2 against Rowlett since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Rowlett will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Sachse extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday. Everything went the Mustangs' way against Naaman Forest as they made off with a 13-3 victory.
Maya McClarity was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. McClarity was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kendyl Cruz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Robinson, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Sachse kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 9-3 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Rowlett made easy work of North Garland on Wednesday and carried off a 12-1 win.
Like Sachse, Rowlett also got a great game from a two-way player: Jordan Lupplace. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Lupplace was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Rowlett let Jordynn Williams and Julissa Casta?eda run wild. Williams went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Casta?eda went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Khloe Bravo, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Sachse now has a winning record of 15-14-1. As for Rowlett, their victory bumped their record up to 20-8.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Sachse has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Rowlett struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Sachse came out on top in a nail-biter against Rowlett in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
