The team also got some help courtesy of  Gavin Hawkins, who  went 4-for-5 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
Western Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for McCutcheon, their record is now 7-9.
 Looking ahead, Western Boone will venture away from home to  take on Frankfort  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for McCutcheon, they will welcome Greenfield-Central  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
