KIPP San Jose Collegiate was led to victory by Juan Ayala and Christian Ademe-Johnson. Ayala dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Ademe-Johnson dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ayala has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Mendoza, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
KIPP San Jose Collegiate pushed their record up to 11-6 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.1 points. As for Mid-Peninsula, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
KIPP San Jose Collegiate will be playing in front of their home fans against More at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. More has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Mid-Peninsula, they will head out on the road to face off against North Valley Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
