Gardner-South Wilmington came out on top against St. Anne on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run first inning. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Cardinals. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ella Mack was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Maddie Simms also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
