The Lockland Panthers will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Reading Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Trinity Hicks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Hicks was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

In other batting news, Lockland got a massive performance out of Alayah Jefferson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Jefferson a new career-high. Liselle Bradford was another key player, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Lockland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mt. Healthy only posted an OBP of .235.
Meanwhile, Reading got the win against Norwood on Wednesday by a conclusive 22-5.
Hailey Mowell was incredible, going 4-for-5 with five runs, five RBI, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Lillie Riedmiller, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
