Ouachita Parish's game  last Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Ouachita Christian Eagles with a sharp  13-1 win. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.
  Rheagan Montgomery was  incredible,  firing off three  home runs, five  RBI,  and one  double while going 4-for-4. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March of 2024.  Ainsley Blaylock also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
Ouachita Parish is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.4 runs over those games. Ouachita Christian is  on  a  four-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Coming up, Ouachita Parish will head out to  square off against Bastrop  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Ouachita Christian, they will welcome St. Frederick  at 5:00  p.m.  on March 11th.
