St. Mary's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tyler Zimmerhanzel, who scored 18 points. That was a full 60% of St. Mary's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kolbe Barta, who scored nine points.
Grace Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samuel Moore, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Moore is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb McGahey, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
St. Mary's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Grace Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-10.
