The Pius X Thunderbolts will be playing at home against the Lincoln Northeast Rockets at 7:30 p.m. Pius X has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,458 points over their last 21 contests.
Pius X stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 83-43 victory over Fremont at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-17.
Pius X got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Treyson Anderson out in front who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Anderson hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. Kellan Humm was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meanwhile, Lincoln Northeast was able to grind out a solid win over Benson on Saturday, taking the game 52-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln Northeast.
Pius X has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Lincoln Northeast, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
Everything came up roses for Pius X against Lincoln Northeast in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 82-41 win. Will Pius X repeat their success, or does Lincoln Northeast have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
