Despite the defeat, Lake Ridge Academy had strong showings from Lillian Shmois, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds, and Kathryn Krueger, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Shmois pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Lake Ridge Academy's defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.5 points per game. As for Harding, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
Lake Ridge Academy will stay at home for another game and welcome Medina Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for Harding, they will head out on the road to challenge Chalker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
