Basketball Recap: Dwight Skates Past Tri-Point with Ease

Dwight won the last time they faced Tri-Point and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dwight Trojans took their match with ease, bagging a 69-30 victory over the Tri-Point Chargers. The contest marked the Trojans' most dominant win of the season.

Dwight's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Collin Bachan, who posted six points along with ten assists and four steals. Dwight is undefeated when Bachan posts eight or more assists, but 10-15 otherwise. Luke Gallet was another key player, en route to 14 points and four steals.

Bachan wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Dwight was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Dwight's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Tri-Point, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-25.

Dwight wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-42 victory against Gardner-South Wilmington on the 19th. As for Tri-Point, they have also already played their next matchup, a 48-40 defeat against Illinois Lutheran on the 20th.
