On Saturday Vestaburg's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Webberville Spartans  3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2024.
 Addison Neelis was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out 18 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sasha Page, who  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.

As for Webberville, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Morrice  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
