The Elkmont Red Devils got the win against the Brindlee Mountain Lions on Tuesday by a conclusive 25-1. Considering the Red Devils have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jacob Pendergrass was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Braidyn Amick, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Elkmont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive contests.

Elkmont is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Brindlee Mountain, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-12 record.

Elkmont will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
