The Design Tech Dragons will take on the El Primero Lobos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
El Primero will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Design Tech extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday. The Dragons never let Summit Shasta get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by eight runs or more this season.

Not much got past Jeneva Fletcher, who gave up just a hit and racked up 13 Ks to keep Summit Shasta off the board. Fletcher has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Sonia Teismann was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ella Lewis, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, El Primero started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against KIPP San Jose Collegiate. They fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 17-16 on Tuesday. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tania Lopez put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up five earned (and 12 unearned) runs off four hits. Lopez was even better at the plate, going 2-for-5 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Kelsy Munguia and Akira Elemen stepped up to the plate in a big way. Munguia went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Elemen went 1-for-4 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanny Perez, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.
El Primero's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Design Tech, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
El Primero's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Design Tech has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. It's a different story for El Primero, though, as they've been averaging 9.5 hits. Given Design Tech's sizable advantage in that area, the Lobos will need to find a way to close that gap.
Design Tech took their victory against El Primero in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 29-17 score. Will the Dragons repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
