North Gwinnett's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Erik Ronning, who picked up 163 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Ryan Hall who threw for 364 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt. Ronning's longest reception was for an incredible 86 yards.
Walton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jeremy Hecklinski, who threw for 295 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per attempt. Hecklinski is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cameran Loyd, who picked up 157 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
North Gwinnett's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Walton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
North Gwinnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Walton will square off against Carrollton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Carrollton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 575 points over their last 12 contests.
