The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers lost to the Morningside Academy Eagles  last Thursday, but the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers didn't allow the Morningside Academy Eagles the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Melbourne Central Catholic secured a  31-25 W over Morningside Academy.
 Melbourne Central Catholic's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Ahjanae  Momperousse, who  scored six points along with ten  rebounds and seven  blocks. Those ten  rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ari  Teeter, who  scored 11 points along with five  steals.
 When it comes to explaining why Morningside Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Emmilina Miller. Despite the final result, she  scored nine points along with five  assists and four  steals. Miller is absolutely dominating the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Giuliana  Bonasera, who  scored seven points along with 13  rebounds.
 Melbourne Central Catholic has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Morningside Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Melbourne Central Catholic's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Edgewood at 5:30  p.m.  on December 15th. Hopefully Edgewood focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 15 on Wednesday. Morningside Academy will be home for the holidays to greet  Jupiter Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The pair have allowed few  points on average, (Jupiter Christian: 25, Morningside Academy: 26.9) so any  points scored will be well earned.
