Karson Stark looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Collett Sanders, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Chase Bennett was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Riverton Parke was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Attica only posted a batting average of .176.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for South Vermillion's offense. They came up short against Terre Haute South Vigo on Monday, falling 14-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Riverton Parke has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like South Vermillion struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.6 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
