On Friday Drury take on Belchertown at 7:00 PM. Drury are limping into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
Drury lost to Amherst-Pelham Regional by a decisive 6-24 margin.
Meanwhile, Belchertown got themselves on the board against Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett last Friday, but Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett never followed suit. Belchertown blew past Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett 31-0. Belchertown were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Belchertown's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Drury's loss dropped them down to 1-3. In Belchertown's win, sophomore Sam Winston rushed for 59 yards and 1 touchdown and junior Callaghan Daskim rushed for 47 yards and 1 touchdown. We'll see if Drury have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
