Hancock will head out on the road to challenge Brooks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Brooks will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Hancock extended their winning streak to four on Friday. Hancock never let Lindblom get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. Hancock's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last four matchups.

Alyssa Diaz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Hancock let Madelynn Dejesus and Roselynn Padilla run wild. Dejesus got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Padilla got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Alayna Bentley also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Hancock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .793. They are 4-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Brooks duked it out with Curie on Monday. The Eagles blew past the Condors 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four contests by nine runs or more so far this season.
Amaya Estrada made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Jayla Tarr was incredible, firing off two home runs, three stolen bases, and four runs while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Maria Garcia, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
The win got Hancock back to even at 5-5. As for Brooks, their record is now 4-1.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Hancock hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .405. However, it's not like Brooks struggles in that department as they've averaged .418. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Hancock got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2021 against Brooks by a conclusive 18-10 score. Will Hancock repeat their success, or does Brooks has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
