The Forest Hills Rangers will head out on the road to take on the Campus Magnet Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Forest Hills' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Forest Hills pushed their score all the way to 75 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Bowne 80-75. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (67), Forest Hills still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Campus Magnet fought the good fight in their overtime match against the Wildcats on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 80-73 to the Wildcats. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Forest Hills' loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Campus Magnet, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
Forest Hills strolled past the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 77-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Forest Hills since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
