 Independence is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-7-1 record  this season. As for Holly Springs, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-5.
 Independence will be playing at home against Choctaw Central at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Choctaw Central is coming into the  matchup with three straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Independence will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win. Holly Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
