Meanwhile, Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Washington. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-21 in the first set.
Kennedy wouldn't go down easily and took Washington into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 25-12, 21-25, 15-10.
Kennedy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for James Logan, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
James Logan took their win against Kennedy in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will James Logan repeat their success, or does Kennedy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
