James Logan's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Austin Milton, who had 23 digs and one assist, and Desmond Brooks, who had five digs and one block. Milton is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least ten every time he's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Washington. While the Titans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-21 in the first set.
Kennedy wouldn't go down easily and took Washington into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 25-12, 21-25, 15-10.
Kennedy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for James Logan, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
James Logan took their win against Kennedy in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will James Logan repeat their success, or does Kennedy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
