It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Lenawee Christian Cougars had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 36-18 victory over Marion. Lenawee Christian's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Despite the loss, Marion still got an impressive performance from Cole Meyer, who rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Even if they lost, Marion's defensive line sure didn't make it easy: Lenawee Christian's QB was sacked four times before it was all said and done. Jp Williams was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
Lenawee Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 11-1.
Lenawee Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Marion also has no future games currently scheduled.
