The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-58 win over Berkeley. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Bishop O'Dowd has posted yet this season.
Samuel Chavarin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Miles Dixon, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals.

As for Berkeley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season.
Bishop O'Dowd will take on Capital Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Berkeley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Castro Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
