After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tournament Opponent, the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They managed a 49-43 win over Village Tech. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Great Hearts Northern Oaks also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Great Hearts Northern Oaks' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cardon Paulos, who scored nine points. Grant Fullbright was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
The win got Great Hearts Northern Oaks back to even at 10-10. As for Village Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Great Hearts Northern Oaks will play host again and welcome New Braunfels T, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Village Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Madison at 7:30 p.m. Madison presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Village Tech in Texas (Madison is ranked 582nd, while Village Tech is ranked 1260th).
