Even though Lebanon scored an imposing 55 points on Friday, Tri-West Hendricks still came out on top. Tri-West Hendricks took their contest against Lebanon 65-55. Given Tri-West Hendricks' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Lebanon is ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Max Robertson and Kaden Lark. Robertson had a great game and scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. Meanwhile, Lark was balling out in the loss, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Speedway's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 63-51 to Roncalli.
Tri-West Hendricks' win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Speedway, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
